Unfortunately there is a bit of rot and delamination on the stern, dug it all out with the idea to replace it with epoxy. Here is a picture of the damage that needs repairing:

So what's this all about
I guess it's for me to track my own progress (or lack of) whilst attempting to restore a dinghy.
I've never been in a dinghy, let alone restored one so I'm guessing I've got some interesting challenges ahead, the dinghy was acquired through Ebay for the bargain price of £55.
So were to start, firstly I need to find out what type of dinghy it is (Now know it's a Heron), what all the bits are it has come with, how to repair and then hopefully by next spring learn how to sail it!
TOTAL TIME SPENT: 43 Hours
