Quite a lot done today, refitted the two port hull runners - they had snapped when removing them so had to careful to join them back up with more epoxy - there not perfect but a few coats of paint should set them right.
Also managed to laminate the starboard hull with resin, the west foam rollers are useless bits of foam kept breaking off and getting stuck in the resin!!! From now on I'm going to use a metal spatula or scraper to spread the resin around.

So what's this all about
I guess it's for me to track my own progress (or lack of) whilst attempting to restore a dinghy.
I've never been in a dinghy, let alone restored one so I'm guessing I've got some interesting challenges ahead, the dinghy was acquired through Ebay for the bargain price of £55.
So were to start, firstly I need to find out what type of dinghy it is (Now know it's a Heron), what all the bits are it has come with, how to repair and then hopefully by next spring learn how to sail it!
